Meagan began practicing yoga in 2007 after many years spent as a classical ballet dancer. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Past Tense Yoga Studio (Mt Pleasant, DC) in 2017. Meagan teaches a breath-based vinyasa flow with a focus on investigating presence in the body and the mind. Most recently, her yoga teaching and personal practice have been influenced by strength training and functional movement. She encourages her students to use props generously, modify often, and expect the unexpected.
